The Stepford Wives:Variety reports that country music beauty Faith Hill will make her big screen debut in Paramount's remake of "The Stepford Wives". The studio is talks with the Grammy-winning songstress on casting her as one of the idealized suburban wives in the dark comedy.

Nicole Kidman toplines a cast that includes John Cusack, Joan Cusack, Glenn Close, Christopher Walken and Roger Bart.

This isn't the first time that Paramount Pictures has tried to seduce the songstress into a film role either, Paramount originally tried to nab Faith for a role in the Mel Gibson war drama We Were Soldiers.


The Stepford Wives was released June 11th, 2004 and stars Nicole Kidman, Matthew Broderick, Bette Midler, Glenn Close, Christopher Walken, Roger Bart, David Marshall Grant, Jon Lovitz. The film is directed by Frank Oz.
