Eyes Wide Shut uncut coming soon?

Eyes Wide Shut: A reader over at The Digital Bits recently attended a Leon Vitali Q & A in which the actor spoke of a possible release of an uncut version of Stanley Kubrick's last film, Eyes Wide Shut, starring Tom Cruise...

Tonight I was fortunate enough to see Leon Vitali in person at a special screening of Barry Lyndon at the University of Colorado. In his discussion, Mr. Vitali revealed that Warner Bros. is planning to release the uncensored international version of Eyes Wide Shut here in the States, sometime next year. Not sure if this was already officially announced or not.


Eyes Wide Shut was released July 16th, 1999 and stars Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Madison Eginton, Jackie Sawiris, Sydney Pollack, Leslie Lowe, Peter Benson, Todd Field. The film is directed by Stanley Kubrick.
