I never said anything about hating him, I dislike him for treating actors badly. Every film he does is filled with explosions and excitement and that's all he cares about, he doesn't want the actors exploring the characters emotional side.
Bruce Willis once said 'I tired to have some say for the character and what I wanted my fans to see'.
Bay said some awful things to him, he doesn't want actors taking control. One of the reasons why Norton won't work with him either.

@superman81:The way I see it is simple. Most people think that being an actor is the toughest part of being in the film industry.Sure you have lines to remember and there is always a chance of being seriously injured. But I think directors may have the toughest job.

Most of the time on dvds,in those behind the scenes features, the director is sitting on his ass infront of a monitor. But the way I see it is:Directors have to make sure that the lighting is right for the scene they are shooting. They have to make sure their actors or actresses are on cue and have no trouble with their lines. They have to make sure that the timing for an explosion or some kind of creepy sound is placed at the right time.Finally.They have to make sure the setting is just right for the scene.

Of course i do know I'm stating everything everyone already knows. But my point is.Thats why I respect directors more than I do actors.Michael Bay especialy because all he's doing trying to make movies and make a living. While giving us a chance to escape reality for two hours. And I think most people who bash him are seriously jealous or just dont give f*ck.

  8. Goodbye

So what if there are more explosions? This is a Transformers movie. What do you expect, the Autobots and the Decepticons to dance and sing their way through battles?Or would you have them call a truce and play chess through the whole film.

As for Michael Bay.I think he's a pretty good director. Most of you may disagree with me given he seems to be an explosive happy kinda guy.But it's him.Maybe he would rather work on movies that have excitement rather than dull movies.I know I would.

Not saying it will be great, simply saying that I am gonna watch it to finish of the series. They deserve a chance and I hope it turns out well. Nothing is for sure.

I totally agree! I think this will be the best and probably the darkest as Shia has stated. Im just wondering if Bay is gonna go all out and have something over the top happen to any of the main characters

@TheFallen, your are correct on all counts, and I have no doubt M. Bay will deliver a great last film of the franchise :D

  16. The Narrator: The Better Man

Todd, I understand but its so obvious the two are not compatible. It would not work. Plain and simple. Bay has a huge ego, and has his style. Jackson is more reserved and passionate about other aspects of the film. The movie would turn out like crap in all realism.

Lol, thanks man. I was not directing anger at you, but at the random commenter's who go with the flow. They lack their own in-depth opinions. I respect your view man, and who knows, in a decade or so the franchise WILL be rebooted. Hopefully then you can get the Transformers film you desire.

I do, @Todd89. I like team ups. Problem is there is too much ego to fit under the title, "Director." That's why most team ups are directors you've never heard of before :P

I'm not comparing them, it's a what if team up. As a person I don't like Bay, his films on the other hand are only eye candy in every single way.
I'm saying what if Peter Jackson and Mike Bay teamed up to do a film. Can anyone understand what I'm saying.

@Fallen I get what your saying, my brother. I just have lost interest in his style. He will always have his fans, and that's fine, but I won't be one anymore. For the record though, I wasn't a fan of even the 1st one.

  22. The Narrator: The Better Man

@Todd, why would you even compare them?

@REALavatar, I appreciate Bay for what he is. A guys guy. I honest to god remember everyone singing his praises when the first one was released. Then the sequel blew and everyone turned tail. It's retarded. People just go with the sway of things. F*ck them, they're just mindless drones. The filmmakers keep trying to say how this will be different. Shia, Michael, Steven.. they want to redeem themselves. I am at least gonna give them a chance. As should others who don't seem to have a voice of their own.. one thats rational anyways.
