The film revolves around a woman (Lane) who, hoping for a better life, moves with her son into a world of wealth and privilege after the son has a brush with the law. When the woman is attacked, their new life is shattered.

Fierce People makes its way to theaters September 7 from Lionsgate.

Fierce People was released September 7th, 2007 and stars Diane Lane, Anton Yelchin, Donald Sutherland, Chris Evans, Kristen Stewart, Paz de la Huerta, Blu Mankuma, Elizabeth Perkins. The film is directed by Griffin Dunne.
