EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger Cast Interviews

Legendary director Woody Allen has made a career of telling quirky and touching comedic stories on film. In fact, Allen's resume reads like a list of the some of the greatest comedies ever made including Annie Hall, Hannah and Her Sisters, Zelig, Crimes and Misdemeanors, Mighty Aphrodite, Everyone Says I Love You and Sweet and Lowdown. In 2005 Allen moved his trademark cinematic setting from Manhattan to London for Match Point, which in a way rejuvenated his career. He followed that up with several other internationally shot films including Scoop, Cassandra's Dream, Vicky Cristina Barcelona and his latest movie, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, which opens in theaters on September 24th.

The film is once again set in London and stars another exceptional group of actors including Naomi Watts (King Kong), Josh Brolin (Jonah Hex), Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins (Silence Of The Lambs), Antonio Banderas (The Legend of Zorro), Freida Pinto (Silence Of The Lambs), Lucy Punch (Kids in America), Anna Friel (Land of the Lost) and Gemma Jones (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince). We recently had a chance to sit down and speak with two of the stars of the film, Lucy Punch and Gemma Jones, about the intriguing new project, their characters, the terrific cast, psychics, prostitutes and working with Woody Allen. Woody Allen's You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger follows a pair of married couples, Alfie (Anthony Hopkins) and Helena (Gemma Jones), and their daughter Sally (Naomi Watts) and husband Roy (Josh Brolin), as their passions, ambitions, and anxieties lead them into trouble and out of their minds. After Alfie leaves Helena to pursue his lost youth and a free-spirited call girl named Charmaine (Lucy Punch), Helena abandons rationality and surrenders her life to the loopy advice of a charlatan fortuneteller. Unhappy in her marriage, Sally develops a crush on her handsome art gallery owner boss, Greg (Antonio Banderas), while Roy, a novelist nervously awaiting the response to his latest manuscript, becomes moonstruck over Dia (Freida Pinto), a mystery woman who catches his gaze through a nearby window. Despite these characters' attempts to dodge their problems with pipe dreams and impracticable plans, their efforts lead only to heartache, irrationality, and perilous hot water. Taking its title from the prediction fortunetellers use to beguile their marks, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, illustrates with wry humor how easy it is for our illusions to make fools of us all.

You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger was released September 22nd, 2010 and stars Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderas, Freida Pinto, Anna Friel, Eleanor Gecks, Ewen Bremner. The film is directed by Woody Allen.
