This week sees the release of writer-director Craig Mazin's do-gooder spoof Superhero Movie. Produced by David Zucker, responsible for such classic comedies as Airplane! and The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad, Superhero Movie promises to be the funnest deconstruction of the superhero mythos ever brought to the big screen. We recently caught up with two of the film's stars to chat about the making of the film. Superhero Movie opens this Friday, March 28th, 2008.

Superhero Movie was released March 28th, 2008 and stars Drake Bell, Sara Paxton, Christopher McDonald, Leslie Nielsen, Kevin Hart, Marion Ross, Ryan Hansen, Keith David. The film is directed by Craig Mazin.

    I wouldn't wast a dime on this sh*t..all these spoof films are nothing but sh*t! None of them will ever come close to say "Airplane!"

    I wasted a Free Rental Coupon at Blockbuster on "Epic Movie", which was trash and a complete waste of Hollywood's money & a cast's time & what little talent they may have left! The only reason this sh*t gets made is High School Kids (Under 18) think this crap is cool when it's not, & the dollar is more important than class or quality!!

    I wouldn't waste my time on "Meet the Spartans", as far as I think, all copies should be burned and the directors forced to go to film school and learn to be "REAL" directors!
