EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Spread the Love with the Cast of Taking Woodstock

Forty years later, Woodstock is remembered as a historical event that defined a generation. Director Ang Lee and longtime screenwriter James Schamus jump in with their adaptation of Elliot Tiber's memoir; which recounts how Woodstock ended up in Bethel, New York. Comedian Demetri Martin plays it straight, sort of, as Elliot - a mild-mannered artist who lures the concert to his sleepy town. The experience profoundly changes his parents (Imelda Staunton, Henry Goodman), his best friend back from war (Emile Hirsch), and the odd characters he encounters.

The cast of Taking Woodstock was in New York recently for interviews. I tip my hat to the fine folks at Focus Features for taking it to the next level with the hippie decorations. Damn the sobriety needed for hard-nosed entertainment journalism. Check out our interviews below with Demetri Martin, Emile Hirsch (Billy), Liev Schrieber (Vilma), and Jonathan Groff (Michael).
