EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Robin Williams and Bobcat Goldthwait Talk World's Greatest Dad

One wouldn't think that comic legends Robin Williams and Bobcat Goldthwait have a lot in common. While they both forged successful comedic careers in the 1980s, they both took different paths when they first worked together on Goldthwait's directorial debut, Shakes the Clown. They're both back together in Goldthwait's third feature film, World's Greatest Dad, which stars Williams as Lance Clayton, a father that makes some interesting choices after the death of his son, Kyle (the hilarious Daryl Sabara). We were able to speak with both Williams and Goldthwait exclusively about their new film, so click below for our exclusive video interview with the star and writer-director of this new dark comedy.

World's Greatest Dad was released August 21st, 2009 and stars Robin Williams, Daryl Sabara, Morgan Murphy, Naomi Glick, Dan Spencer, Geoff Pierson, Henry Simmons, Zach Sanchez. The film is directed by Bobcat Goldthwait.

    First time I ever heard Bobcat Goldthwait was on KQAK Radio in San Francisco on Alex Bennett's morning show. He had a live audience and several comedians would come in and do his show. I loved the weather and traffic guy, Joe Regelski. Bobcat was addicted to Tab soda pop and had the best voice. It was really surprising to see what he looked like several years later. I worked with a guy who would drink a six-pack a day in the office. Anyway, loved Shakes The Clown, Robin has always been a favorite, and thought Bobcat was great in Scrooged. Never saw any of the Police Academy series, but that's just me. Looking forward to this movie.
