BTW Extended Cut sucks.
Bring on XF3. It seems that Gillian has lost her sauciness in the character, but she won't need it for the FINAL EXTRATERRESTRIAL COLONIZATION. Mulder couldn't stop it, he knows it's coming. The FBI "forgot" what they did to him, the trial/bogus charges, etc. Whether they know it's coming or not, or only a few inside agencies within, is unknown. But all we know from the ending of XF2 is that M&S are together and she has accepted that the darkness will find them, no matter what. Sounds like the perfect setup for XF3 if you ask me.
Just let Rob Bowman direct it.

Can someone tell me exactly what was the secret again? Even if the story ended up on Law & Order a week before the movie came out, who cares? It was so forgettable that no one would have noticed. Who watches L&O anymore anyways? So all that trouble for nothing, guys. NOTHING. People were simply trying to figure out the plot because we didn't believe Carter about it being a Stand Alone. We thought he was covering up a Mythology film. Which, of course, then it would have been a big deal, and probably would have made a lot more money.
