EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Matteo Garrone Takes Us Deep Inside Gomorrah

Gomorrah is a contemporary Neapolitan mob drama based on an expose of Italy's criminal underbelly originally written by Roberto Saviano. Published in the U.S. by Farrar, Strauss & Giraux, Roberto's non-fiction book was so hard-hitting that mob threats forced Saviano into hiding. Now, director Matteo Garrone brings this controversial story to the big screen with his own hardened adaptation of the tale. We recently caught up with Garrone for a chat about this upcoming film. Gomorrah will play in limited release throughout the country starting this November.

Gomorrah was released February 13th, 2009 and stars Toni Servillo, Gianfelice Imparato, Maria Nazionale, Salvatore Cantalupo, Gigio Morra, Salvatore Abruzzese, Marco Macor, Ciro Petrone. The film is directed by Matteo Garrone.

Never heard of this guy. Is the movie going to be in Italian since he is an Italian writer?
