In the new comedy Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Kevin James stars as a single, suburban dad trying to make ends meet as a security officer at a New Jersey mall. Though no one else takes his job seriously, Paul considers himself on the front lines of safety. When a heist shuts down the megaplex, Jersey's most formidable mall cop will have to become a real cop to save the day. We recently met up with Kevin James to talk about his latest comedy. Paul Blart: Mall Cop was released January 16th, 2009 and stars Kevin James, Keir O'Donnell, Jayma Mays, Raini Rodriguez, Shirley Knight, Stephen Rannazzisi, Peter Gerety, Bobby Cannavale. The film is directed by Steve Carr.

    He's in the big leagues for most of the country, which would get James all kinds of attention. People actually see Judd Apatow movies. He's hit and miss, but if he incorporated James into a hit, it could be great

    I think THIS movie is gonna be great. I dunno about Apatow, he's hit and miss..... with me anyway. lolz. Even if I DID like him, though, I wouldn't call Apatow the big leagues.....

    I loved James on The King of Queens. I think he needs to get some better gigs, though. Judd Apatow should "enlist" him...then he'd be in the big leagues
