EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Harrison Ford & Brendan Frasier Take Extraordinary Measures
Extraordinary Measures was inspired by the book "The Cure" written by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Geeta Anand. From his working class roots, John Crowley (Fraser) has finally begun to taste success in corporate America. Supported by his beautiful wife Aileen (Keri Russell) and their three children, John is on the fast track. But just as his career is taking off, Crowley walks away from it all when his two youngest children, Megan and Patrick, are diagnosed with a fatal disease. With Aileen by his side, harnessing all of his skill and determination, Crowley teams up with a brilliant, but unappreciated and unconventional scientist, Dr. Robert Stonehill (Ford). Together they form a biotech company focused on developing a life-saving drug. One driven to prove himself and his theories, the other by a chance to save his children, this unlikely alliance eventually develops into mutual respect as they battle the medical and business establishments in a fight against the system ... and time. But, at the last minute, when it appears that a solution has been found, the relationship between the two men faces a final test, the outcome of which will affect the fate of John's children. Starring Harrison Ford, Brendan Frasier, Keri Russell, Jared Harris, Alan Ruck, Patrick Bauchau, Dee Wallace and Courtney B. Vance. Directed by Tom Vaughan, Extraordinary Measures opens in theaters on January 22nd.
Extraordinary Measures was released January 22nd, 2010 and stars Brendan Fraser, Harrison Ford, Keri Russell, Meredith Droeger, Diego Velazquez, Sam Hall, Jared Harris, Patrick Bauchau. The film is directed by Tom Vaughan.

@ Illuminati: I didn't think Crash was all that people said, I was just saying Fraser did a decent job in that movie. To answer your question, I probably will rent it later on, I doubt I'll care enough to see it in theaters. Dramatic realism interests me, movies like The Pursuit of Happyness and Lorenzo's Oil are movies that I enjoy on a personal level, whether they're entertaining or not. I'm not saying this will be good, I'm just saying I'll give it a chance.

your right about FORD, lol, i guess i was too harsh on him :) But Fraser, come'on. Even in Gods & Monsters it was all Mckellen! But watching the trailer of this it's nothing special at all, are you really going to watch this?
No offense parkwilliams, I know CRASH is fan favourite, but i 'loathe' that film. The actors did a decent job. But the story and directing was pompous and pretentious. it actually attempt to 'teach' the world "this is what racism is". I'm sorry, i for one am NOT going to take racial lessons for Paul 'tvland-white-boy-writer' Haggis(he wrote the screenplay as well). The characters were so cliched and so outspoken about everything 'racial' thought they had! it was ridiculous. Haggis needs to learn a little thing called SUBTLY. The worst BEST PICTURE winner.
As for the concept of interconnecting/emotional dramatic stories, MAGNOLIA is fantastic film that did this well.

@Illuminati: I think your being a little harsh on Fraser. Sure he's not he greatest actor ever but even he's had his moments, like Crash for instance. And Harrison Ford is still good despite being past the peak of his career, I think it's been more the roles he's gotten recently rather than his talent that's pushed him into the background.

moviewebgiuffre; "This movie looks like its going to be great. Ford and Fraser are two awsome actors!" you crack me up :)
branden fraser is one of those hollywood enigmas. Unlazyboy the only thing that surpize me about Frasier is; HOW DOES HE CONTINUE TO GET JOBS? He is a cliched mediocre actor who is so BLAND, that he's not even bad enough to be remembered or imitated.
And Ford hasn't done anything worth watching since AIR FORCE 1 in '97! Someone needs to remind that senile old fool that he's in a movie with BRENDAN FRAISER!!!
This looks so looks so boring it belongs on 'Lifetime'. I'm skipping this.

i really dont think that a movie needs to have 85% cgi, one lining quips and nothing but action for a film to be something that should be seen. Most feel good movies have alot of the same themes, and usually although the story might be original, the premise is often not. But i think this might be good, and will show both actors in dramatic roles, that i have been comfortable with both in. ford in mosquito coast, and frasier in gods and monsters. i will check it out though.

I don't know if I would say that this movie will be oscar worthy movie. Instead, it will be a typical inspirational feel good movie, with my favorite actor Ford. And, Frasier is decent, he may not be the best but I don't think he has been given many roles that stretches his acting talents. I think we will be surprised by what we see out of him in this film and the story in general.

Err
this movie looks like one of those awful panderific flicks made purely as an oscar grab.
