EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Elijah Wood and Jennifer Connelly Talk 9!

Back in 2004, UCLA film student Shane Acker released an 11-minute short entitled simply 9 that took the film community by storm. Acker won a Student Academy Award for his film and there began talk of a feature adaptation. Five years later, the full-length feature film 9 is set to mesmerize audiences nationwide on September 9 - or 9/9/09 - with this visionary take on a post-apocalyptic world, and the pint-size "stitchpunks" that inhabit this desolate landscape.

We were able to speak exclusively with director Shane Acker, who makes his feature debut after writing and directing the short, along with voice actors Elijah Wood, who plays the title character of 9 and Jennifer Connelly, who voices 7, the warrior princess of the the group.
