EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Derek Mears Talks Friday the 13th Sequel and Predators!

Earlier today I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing one of the nicest bad guys ever when I talked to Derek Mears, who dons the mask of Jason Voorhees in the new Friday the 13th remake, which is coming out on DVD, Killer Cut Extended Edition DVD and Blu-ray on June 16.

With the success of the remake in theaters, I just had to ask the affable Mears what he's heard about a sequel and I also had to address a recent rumor that Mears was going to play a Predator in the upcoming Robert Rodriguez reboot flick, Predators... rumors which he dispelled, in a way. Predators was released July 9th, 2010 and stars Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Walton Goggins, Oleg Taktarov, Laurence Fishburne, Danny Trejo, Louis Ozawa Changchien. The film is directed by Nimród Antal.

    The remake of "Friday the 13th" was ok ...Lots of plot holes, insde gags, and bad acting ...PLUS a very silly ending!!

    The biggest complaint my friends & I had about the Remake "Friday the 13th" was that Jason ran way to fast, and he moved with to much speed & skill...... like he had been trained by the Marines or something!

    The ending was lame ...Very lame!

    Derek Mears was ok as Jason...not memorable ...Kane Hodder will always be Jason to me!!!

    If they do one more, then they should stop it at that one, because then it will be the 13th Jason film! Mears was a good Jason. But nobody will top my favorite, Ken Kirzinger.

    Making a sequel would be awesome. It would be more awesome if they put Derek Mears as Jason again. I not so happy about a predator remake. Hopefully it will be good.

    Friday the 13th 2 would be awesome. I reallly enjoyed the remake and the killer cut edition is much better than what was released in theaters. It didn't feel nearly as rushed.
