I just finished the whole movie, complete with wife stopping in for at least 1 hour (anyone married should find that remarkable.) There is a bit too much CGI for me, but it works and is creative. I saw the original "Day of the " in the theater, and I had much more fun with this one. See it with a Shiner beer and a Tabasco beef jerky.

I just gone watching "Day of the Dead'!! Not "THAT" bad, it's about a C- Mabey a D-!! A little bit over the top, more of a black comedy than a horror film! I can see why critics would have savaged this film if it did get into theaters!

LOL!! I can't beleive that there was a vegetarian zombie, & military zombies W./guns!! LOL!! (IT has to be seen to be believed!)

Just Z grade horror film...watch it ...laugh at it..don't analyze it..just put the brain on check, because once it's over and the credits roll you wont remember much about the film...except the vegetarian zombie who doesn't eat flesh!!

I guess Mena Suvari need a paycheck??

What is funny, I did listen to part of the director's commentry (LOL) and there is a Leadville, Colorado but they filmed it in Bulgaria!! LOL!!!

They can put crap like a PG-13 Re-Make of "Prom Night" in theater, but they can't put a Re-Make of: "Day of the Dead" in theaters...??? Hmm what is up W/.that??

I mean director Steve Miner directed such "Cult" classics as: "Friday the 13th Part 2" & "House"!
    Hollywood is screwed!

I just rented this last night 04/09/08, haven't watched it yet, so I'm hope it is has good has "Dawn of the Dead"!!!
