Chris Rock has a habit of taking funny comedies from cinematic history and from around the world, and remaking them into even funnier vehicles for his own unique style of humor. He did it in 2001 with the movie Down To Earth, which was a remake of the critically acclaimed 1978 Warren Beatty film Heaven Can Wait, which, in turn, was actually a remake of the 1941 classic Here Comes Mr. Jordan. The actor repeated this trend in 2007 with his directorial debut I Think I Love My Wife, which was a remake the 1972 French film Chloe In The Afternoon. Now the comedian returns with his new film, Death At A Funeral, a remake of director Frank Oz and writer Dean Craig's 2007 British funeral farce. The film boasts a cast of comedy all-stars joining Rock including Martin Lawrence and Tracy Morgan, and seasoned actors like James Marsden, Zoe Saldana and Danny Glover. We recently had the opportunity to sit down and talk to Chris Rock, as well as Tracy Morgan, Luke Wilson, Danny Glover and Regina Hall to find out more about the film, working with the cast, what makes a funeral funny and why Tracy Morgan is so insane. Death at a Funeral was released April 16th, 2010 and stars Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan, Martin Lawrence, Zoe Saldana, Peter Dinklage, James Marsden, Danny Glover, Regina Hall. The film is directed by Neil LaBute.
