Character name is in the title Percy Jackson played by Logan Lerman is a teenager who discovers he's the descendant of a Greek god and sets out on an magical journey adventure to settle an ongoing battle between the gods. Screenplay writer Craig Titley, Director Chris Columbus, Genre Adventure Fantasy, Pierce Brosnan is Chiron a character from Titus 1999, Uma Thurman is Medusa Disney Hercules 1998, Sean Bean Zeus King of Greek gods, Kevin McKidd Poseidon equivalent to the Roman Neptune god of the sea, Rosario Dawson Persephone, Serinda Swan Aphrodite, Steve Coogan Hades lord of dead has a temper father of Poseidon god of the sea. Logan Lerman is an excellent skim board rider it's a sport that requires great balance good running ability and a love for smooth shell less sand found at the shoreline end. As the ocean wave reaches the end of its journey a film of ocean water just covers the shell less sand you run very fast throw the skimmer board which is a flat oblong shaped disc and aim yourself on top of the skimmer board and ride the ocean film of water until forward momentum stops Logan Lerman is tops at the sport of skim board riding. Logan Lerman will do very well as will Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief 2010 this movie is the complete package the actors and actresses involved are of the highest caliber their skills are honed and primed the gods will awaken and become alive lets all join in on the resurrection all taking place under Chris Columbus's outstanding direction.

    I wonder if the person responsible for this screenplay even read the books. The movie looks to be totally different from the book and not in a good way. Does anyone know if there cramming more then one of the books in the first film or if there even planning more films based off the series. Just curious cause i'm seeing stuff from the second book in some of the footage that I've seen.
