Tyrese Gibson hopes Michael Bay and Shia LaBeouf return for Transformers 4
It has been widely reported that director Michael Bay and star Shia LaBeouf won't be back for Transfomers 4, but Tyrese Gibson hopes that is not the case, even if it means we have to wait a bit longer for the sequel. Here's what he had to say about Transfomers 4 below.
"My humble prediction would be that... we're at $1.1 billion. This is the biggest year of my life. I'm on the other side of $1.7 billion in box office receipts, between both films. I think, with the success of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, both Michael Bay and Shia probably want a break from the franchise, but there's no way, I believe, that, at some point, they're not going come back to do Transfomers 4. Maybe they need a few years to get a few other creative things out of their system, which is understandable, but for people to love this franchise around the world like they do, it's damn-near crazy to not give the fans what they love and enjoy again. So maybe two years, maybe three years will go by, you never know, but I believe, and hope, that we are able to do another Transformers. I'm a real Transformers fan, outside of the fact that I'm in the movie, but I just hope we're able to do it again one day. It's the first film in Paramount's 99-year history that has ever grossed $1 billion. I hope we're able to figure this out."
Stay tuned for my full interview with Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Fast Five star Tyrese Gibson in the very near future.

i'm not watching a fourth if michael bay returns. i gave all three movies a chance and the third one finally killed transformers for me. i don't mind the same characters returning but the directing and writing must change

@frankenfate
Yes, you absolutely right. They don't have to go and see it, if they think there has been enough of them.

@sean Finally! Someone who speaks the truth! I been trying to tell people that! If someone doesn't wanna see another installment of a good series, thinking 3 is enough, then they don't have to see it, instead of telling people who still wanna see more sequels "They shouldn't be making anymore." or more like "They need to end this goddamn series!"

There isn't anything wrong with the fourth Pirates movie, and there isn't anything wrong with the third Transformers movie. The reason why they continue these movies, is because of the money they make, and also because alot of people go to see them in movie theaters.

They should learn from Pirates of the Caribbean. End it at 3. Any more would be pointless.

Kind of surprised. Kind of not. Doesn't really bother me. I really want to see the third, but I'm in no rush for others.
