I see your point, and with mr. Lucas i agree 100% he`s the master of this.. and i`ve bought just about every edition on different formats over the years.. and i will buy the blu-ray version when its due.. same with LOTR,.. But i really dont feel ripped off.. i bought them freely and willingly, just because its so good.. And if youre still happy with the VHS package you bought 15 years ago i suggest you stick to it.. No offense.. But i`m such a sucker for this thing that i just gotta have it all!!!
But i dont feel ripped off!! its all worth it to me... But i totally get your point too...
peace..

@ollie-styrene im sorry but there's a difference between movie magic and getting ripped off for the hundredth time. **COUGHgeorgelucasCOUGH** now i can understand that as a fan you like the movie and there's nothing wrong with that. but honestly i cant justify buying a new dvd set everytime it comes out, just for the extra 4 seconds they add back into the film to make you think that you're getting something special. or for the extra "special feature" that may be added. unless you're watching the special features EVERY TIME you watch the movie, it's really not worth it. you watch it once and then forget about it. thats all im saying
