The team on the fast attack ship Alesia is assigned to help the Starship John A. Warden stationed in Fort Casey evacuate along with the survivors and bring military intelligence safely back to Earth. Carl Jenkins, now ministry of Paranormal Warfare, takes the starship on a clandestine mission before its rendezvous with the Alesia and goes missing in the nebula. Now, the battle-hardened troopers are charged with a rescue mission that may lead to a much more sinister consequence than they ever could have imagined....
Starship Troopers: Invasion was released August 28th, 2012 and stars Leraldo Anzaldua, Luci Christian, Melissa Davis, Justin Doran, David Matranga, Emily Neves, David Wald. The film is directed by Shinji Aramaki.

That's because @jasonkat, the creaters don't have to worry about the female actress being concerned and apprehensive about her career going down the tubes and people seeing her in a negative light. And whomever provides the voice can just think, "That's not me naked, it's CGI".
Wait @Yannick Decorte, are you complaining about the zooming? They could have gotten closer.
The CGI looks good, but I can't help judging it against Final Fantasy. That was years ago but the CGI was better. These new slew of CGI photo realistic movies look more like Resident Evil creations. I bought R.E. Regeneration and I'll still get this too.

What a silly trailer. It looks like it was put together by a randy 13 year old boy. The CG skin looks like plastic but the bugs were cool. I'm a little concerned that for an R-Rated film this red band trailer didn't show any human blood, let alone any limbs being ripped off. The only blood was green bug blood.

At first, i thought it was a real film, not a "resident evil" CGI look alike..
Itc also lookd like a video game. Some trailer off of a ps3 thing.
And what's with the naked girl? If you gonna throw in sum naked chick. make it reasonable not barbie-eye candy for no reason.
Im a big pixar fan. i love those films such as cars, toy story, the incredibles, ect. I always wanted some studio to capture films like this1 and RE to where things look real and not cartoonish.
but this still looks kool.

@narrator Its based off one book by classic Sci Fi writer Robert A. Heinlein. The book is very good if you like that sort of thing. I would compare it to John Scalzi's Old Man's War which is obviously influenced by Heinlein but more recent.
