EXCLUSIVE: Maggie Grace Talks Taken 2

I recently had the chance to speak with actress Maggie Grace, who was promoting the sci-fi action thriller Lockout, arriving in theaters April 13. She reprises her role as Kim in Taken 2, the follow-up to 2009's surprise action hit Taken. This time around, instead of Kim being kidnapped, her father Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is taken hostage with his wife, while on vacation in Istanbul. I asked the actress if this role reversal meant she would have to take action to save her father. Take a look at what she had to say.

Taken 2 was released October 5th, 2012 and stars Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen, Leland Orser, Jon Gries, D.B. Sweeney, Luke Grimes, Rade Serbedzija. The film is directed by Olivier Megaton.

    I didn't see the first film, but the idea of a family that can't stop finding themselves in hostage situations cracks me up LOL The third film should be called Taken: The Final Straw, where Liam Neeson's wife divorces him and takes everything he owns LOL

    I actually run an entertainment news site myself and I'm happy to inform you that 20th Century Fox sent over a very long synopsis for Taken 2. It sounds far more promising than the basic premise a lot of you guys have seen. While Liam's character and his wife do get captured and the daughter as to save them, that only occurs during a small portion of the film. Once Liam's character is rescued, it's back to 'badass' mode.

    the whole concept makes no sense. In the last movie she was a scared little girl and Liam was this badas* who was able to take down groups of guys and kill people with ease. How the hell could he get kidnapped especially with those "set of skills" it just makes no sense.

    they picked a horrible premise for this movie. Taken was a good movie but the worst thing about it was maggie grace. I mean shes a good actress but she acted a little too childish (which im sure she was doing because she was a 27 yearold playing a 17 yearold). That being said the premise is dumb and not very beleivable.
