Jeremy Bulloch reveals what he wants in a Boba Fett movie
Today, we caught up with the man behind the Boba Fett mask, Jeremy Bulloch, to get his take on what could be a very awesome Star Wars movie.
While Boba Fett first appeared in an animated short that debuted about an hour into the long lost, but never forgotten Star Wars Holiday Special, Jeremy Bulloch introduced the live action version of this hugely popular character in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, working for Jabba the Hutt and memorably encasing beloved hero Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in carbonite.
Jeremy Bulloch is hesitant about bringing Boba Fett back in a stand-alone movie, because the character is notoriously quiet, choosing his few select words very carefully. While he is one of the coolest bounty hunters to ever live, it may be hard to create a singe storyline around him.
Jeremy Bulloch continued by saying this about a Boba Fett movie.
"It could be cool. You never know. But I think you might want to just leave it as it is. If they did do a film, it would be nice to be asked to sit in the corner of the Sarlacc pit as a wise old bounty hunter. Occasionally speaking a line here or there, and being a lot like Clint Eastwood. It would be nice to do a cameo."
What would Jeremy Bulloch like a Boba Fett movie to look like? As he explains it, maybe the movie can go back to Boba Fett's roots, revealing his former alliance with Han Solo.
"I believe, to this day, that somewhere along the line, Boba Fett and Han Solo flew the Millinium Falcon together. Something went wrong, and they split up as a couple of friends. I always remember the line, "Boba Fett? Where?" Han wants to settle something. I think that's what that scene means. I think there is a respect for both of them. They respect each other. People ask, "If you could choose another character, who would you choose?" And I always say Han Solo."
Boba Fett can next be seen in the Star Wars: The Complete Saga Blu-ray, available September 16th.

sounds like our opinions are identical i love the s and im so glad they're delving deeper into different comic versions im also glad it looks a little alien since he is an alien after all i really like how it drapes over his shoulders it makes him look really superior have you read the birthright comic and there has been some negativity about the changes but thats the whole point of a reboot have you read the birthright comic? where the Africa storyline comes from

@theblur92 the suit for the Man of Steel? I like it a lot actually. From what I can see there is no red underwear. Also everyone has been negative about the S. But in the comics his shield on his chest was big depending on the artist. Plus looks like they used part of the earth 2 Superman S. How bout u?

Joe Johnston + George Lucas = Doomed
Sorry, but neither one of those guys can pull their own weight anymore when it comes to making good films. In fact, they are both awful......so they need to leave Boba Fett the f*ck alone.
The only Star Wars related film that should be "in the making" is a totally new, original trilogy that takes place in either the Old Republic (preferably) or the distant future and is written by someone who actually knows what makes a good story and who knows how people talk. That script should then be passed on to J.J. Abrams who would ultimately make a friggin masterpiece and would , therefore, resurrect/redeem the Star Wars name which George Lucas has so successfully destroyed.
Beyond that, you can count me out!

I dont got a problem with this....but they better not bring Han Solo into this, dont think i can watch a live action star wars movie with someone else playing #HarrisonFord role.

Wow. I love the prospect of a stand alone Fett movie but - Solo and Fett did NOT fly together. The reason they knew of each other is obvious - when you're a notorious smuggler and have a big bounty on your head, you would fear that someday the best bounty hunter might come knocking.
And Solo's enthusiasm in his line "Boba Fett!? Where!?" was purely fear mixed with the fact that he was partially blind. I can't believe he thought they were former friends.

Actually it could work, he's one of the best Bounty Hunters around.
I just think that a few of the idea's would be awesome: A KOTOR trilogy, Boba Fett -single, or whatever else there is that has been thought up all ready.
If a 7,8,9 is done then don't do the Skywalker family. It's a huge universe and why have cross overs, sure it'll be cool to see Mara Jade but not a film of her.

i think i'm with bulloch... i don't think this would make a good stand alone film (or even if it would, whether or not it SHOULD). that being said, i love his idea of an origins story with Han... but, again, i don't think this should happen.
rather see all energy go toward episodes 7-9.
