EXCLUSIVE: Jensen Ackles Updates Us on the Fate of Supernatural
He went on to explain the fate of the series as he knows it, "This was supposed to be our last season. Season four was supposed to be the big crescendo. That is what Kripke had always explained to us. He had a very specific way that he wanted to end the show. As you know, that didn't work out with the writer's strike. Things got sort of pushed back." Does that mean season five is the last time we will see the Winchester brothers? "Maybe Kripke will come in and wrap everything up in season five. I know there has been talk of that. It's hard to say, though. With season four, the ratings have gone way up. We were supposed to be heading towards the end, but who knows at this point? He might want to keep it around for a bit longer."
And about a 3D episode of Supernatural? Jensen doesn't know when or if we will ever see one. But after starring in My Bloody Valentine 3D, he certainly is game to see the Winchester brothers come busting out of a television screen near you. An all-new season four episode premieres this Thursday at 9 pm only on the CW. And look for Jensen in My Bloody Valentine 3D, which opens Friday, January 16th, 2009.
Supernatural episode 4.11, "Family Remains" stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Helen Slater, David Newsom, Bradley Stryker, Alexa Nikolas, Dylan Minnette, Mandy Playdon and is directed by Philip Sgriccia.

All I know is that I'm givin' major kudos to the show. I've only started watching this season because I thought that a show like this was more appropriate in a comic book. (I know, I know. I was wrong.) But now I'm a fan :D

This show is fantastic and I can't wait until Thursday the 15th. Seems like forever since the last new episode. I believe this show deserves even bigger ratings. Will be seeing Jensen in My Bloody Valentine and Padalecki in Friday the 13th.
