Eric Bana Will Not Return for Star Trek
We reported last month that Star Trek writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman have already begun planning the script to the sequel, but they never mentioned Nero specifically and it seems that Bana will not come back for the part.
We'll certainly keep you posted on any and all breaking news items dealing with a Star Trek sequel as soon as we have more information. The Time Traveler's Wife stars Eric Bana, Rachel McAdams, Ron Livingston, Jane McLean and will be released nationwide on August 14.
Star Trek was released May 8th, 2009 and stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Leonard Nimoy, Eric Bana, Bruce Greenwood, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg. The film is directed by J.J. Abrams.

Nero coulda been so much more in that movie. An overall wasted takly villain that had little action elements. I didn't care at all that he perished, if that's what really happened. The climax wasn't satisfying enough either given the build up with the whole back story and time travelling story. Maybe they'll redo Kahn much better in one if not both of the two sequels?

yeah there has been a poster of her floating about in the wonder woman costume.
I didn't like her as Barbarella or Catwoman, Rose Mcgowan, looks better, i can imagine her in the role.
Also its a shame that she won't be Lara Croft, Jolie has stated she is staying as the title character

Fox looked good in the pics of LARA CROFT, WONDER WOMAN, CATWOMAN, BARBARELLA, and BOND GIRL. Some of the others just looked stupid. I could see her in any of the above roles... but she still needs to work on her acting. haha

Some More interesting news...
And also here is a little interesting tidbit, Angelina Jolie claims she is not allowing Megan Fox to take her role as Lara Croft.
She feels its a character she helped refine and design to the screen and states, that she won't allow anyone to take the character away from her, as she believes that, the connections between her and Foxx, started there with the comparisons that both actresses were up for the role.
But apparently Jolie has first choice, cause she had a 2-film contract with optional decision of renewing the contract for future installments.
So it looks like Jolie is Lara Croft, once again...
And Christian Bale has come forth and denied all the rumours connecting him with the MGS film adaptation, stating that although he loves the game, he has not been offered in any form a role in the film, if it happens, which is unlikely.

Dunno, but Mcteigue and the Wachowski brothers on Superman, is a big fat mistake.
The trio did good with The Matrix, but the films on from there sucked, Reloaded, Revolutions and Speed Racer.
Can you honeslty imagine it, Superman bombarded with OTT special effects and dodging bullets in slo-mo, matrix style. its just not Supes.

I think we have covered this. What we want in the next one is a MASSIVE SPACE BATTLE something truly epic and some tactics this time please not just "fire everything".
I loved the first one but was a little disappointed that we didn't get to see nero taking out the other starfleet ships. Lets face it that's what you want and with todays effects it would have looked the sh*ts !!

Hmmmmm, thinks MovieWeb needs to define 'Exclusive'
Also apparently Star Trek 2 will end on a cliffhanger, which will open up Part 3, so it looks like awe got a trilogy on the horizon.
And Kurtzman & Orci, confirmed this is one of the factors they are looking into with Abrahams, who is confirmed to direct & produce.

I really did not care about this guy at all in the film, i was just glad to see the whole original crew back in a new crew. But i hear Star Trek 2 will have a cliffhanger, so maybe he might show up on the last scene kind of like pirates 2.
