Craig Robinson talks Last Comic Standing and Father of Invention
Robinson has certainly been keeping busy on both the small screen and the big screen and you can currently watch the funnyman as the host of the NBC stand-up comedy competition Last Comic Standing.
"It's fun, it's great," Robinson said. "It's all about the comedians going up and doing their thing and they're doing it. Whether they do good or bad, win or lose, I'm just there to say, 'What's up? Good job.' Keep them moving and see how they felt about it."
He also mentioned that some of his own stand-up comedy could be featured in future episodes of the show.
"Yeah, a little bit is going to get in there," he told us on the red carpet.
He also cleared up an incorrect listing that he was part of the cast of The Other Guys.
"I was never in it," Robinson said. "It was erroneously reported on IMDB.com, so I was never in it.
A new movie that he is definitely appearing in is Father of Invention.
"I play Kevin Spacey's ex-wife's new husband," he said. "Virginia Madsen plays his ex-wife."
He also had great things to say about working with Kevin Spacey in the film.
"He's an entertainer, through and through. He's funny, does impressions, he's a great dude."
