EXCLUSIVE: Corey Haim to Return in Lost Boys 4

Corey Haim to Return in Lost Boys 4

The actor says that Warner Brothers Premiere is planning on making one movie a year

Lost Boys 3: The Thirst was recently announced with Corey Feldman coming back as Edgar Frog. Directed by Dario Piana, The story follows veteran vampire hunter Edgar Frog, who finds himself destitute and almost friendless. Just when he thinks his life has hit rock bottom, wealthy vampire-romance novelist Gwen Liebling (in a direct riff on Twilight} offers him a small fortune to go on the vampire hunt of a lifetime and rescue her son Peter from the Alpha Vampire D.J. Dusk. With the help of his friends Zoe, Lars and Blake, Edgar heads into a bloody battle to exterminate evil. The plan is to reunite Edgar with his brother Alan, which will find actor Jamison Newlander returning to the series. We recently caught up with Feldman to discuss the upcoming direct-to-DVD film. He told us that he'd reconciled with his on-again, off-again partner in crime Corey Haim, but he wasn't sure if Haim would return in Lost Boys 3: The Thirst.

We just got back from chatting with Haim, who confirmed that he will not be participating in Lost Boys 3: The Thirst due to his very busy schedule. But he is in fact looking to come back for Part 4, in which Sam Emerson will play a huge part in the storyline. Haim said that there are certain stipulations in bringing his beloved character back to the small screen as he was personally unhappy with the direction the second film took. He will have some say over the character's personal arc this fourth time around. He also revealed that Warner Premier is planning on making one Lost Boys direct-to-video sequel a year. Though, he thinks this may spoil the original film and its magic. He didn't mention how big a part in the overall series Sam Emerson would have.

He went on to say that he is very proud of Corey Feldman's recent accomplishments in both film, music, and the Netflix original series Splatter. Though he is looking forward to Lost Boys 3: The Thirst, he doesn't think anything will ever be as good as the original. Look for our exclusive video interview coming soon.

Lost Boys: The Thirst was released October 12th, 2010 and stars Corey Feldman, Jamison Newlander, Tanit Phoenix, Sean Cameron Michael, Matthew Dylan Roberts, Joe Vaz, Seb Castang, Matthew Kalil. The film is directed by Dario Piana.

He is right nothing will beat the original !! Part 2 sucked with just Feldman in it so I don't see part 3 being that much better.I want to see a Lost Boys sequel with both the Frog Brothers And Sam hell maybe even some more of the original cast can have parts in the film. Also if its straight to DVD why bother ,rarely does any straight to DVD movie do great. That just tells us it won't be that great.I want it to do good cause I'm a huge fan of part 1 but I agree with Haim it can't beat or come close to the magic of 1.

There isn't a point in straight to DVD, it should be released in theaters like most films or simply rent them.

Are you serious dcrock? Even for a straight to dvd it was a shocking sequel and spat in the face of the original film. It just shows how stereotypical hollywood is. It's bad enough their making a 3rd but a 4th one too?! wtf! The last and probaly only good straight to dvd film was Trick R treat.
