Evan Ross, Michael Rapaport, Kerry Washington and Victor Rasuk to Star in Life Is Hot in Cracktown
The film is based on Buddy Giovinazzo's eponymous 1993 collection of short stories, and intertwines several unsettling tales of people in a neighborhood ravaged by crack cocaine, says The Hollywood Reporter. Giovinazzo is also directing.
No production schedule has been set for Life Is Hot in Cracktown.
Ross, the son of Diana Ross, is also starring in Jessy Terrero's Brooklyn to Manhattan, a thriller about four Manhattanites stalked by killers in Brooklyn subway tunnels after a failed drug deal.
