Eva Mendes joins the drama Ansiedad
Patricia Riggen (Under the Same Moon) will direct Mendes as the struggling single mother of a 13 year old who decides to tranform her detested life by embarking on a classic teen rite of passage.
The spec script, which was brought to executive producer Greg Coote by manager Diane McGee, is being produced under the new Pantelion-Lionsgate deal to premiere at TIFF 2011.
Martinez is represented by McGee and Todd Hoffman of ICM.
