Mendes plays Sand Seref, one of several femme fatales in the film, and former lover of The Spirit (Gabriel Macht) himself.
Directed by comic book legend Frank Miller, Will Eisner's The Spirit opens January 16th, 2009, and stars Gabriel Macht, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes, Sarah Paulson, Dan Lauria, Stana Katic, Johnny Simmons, Louis Lombardi, Jamie King and Paz Vega.
The Spirit was released December 25th, 2008 and stars Jaime King, Gabriel Macht, Dan Gerrity, Arthur the Cat, Kimberly Cox, Brian Lucero, David Brian Martin, Larry Reinhardt-Meyer. The film is directed by Frank Miller.

Hmmmmmmmmmm... Miller CAN'T Screw the amazing work of the comic book creator Will Eisner (RIP) Whose epic character The spirit is. In fact, one of the best the world has to offer yet nowadays.
I thought the movie was a rip-off of Sin City (when i saw the teaser) But now i know that it'll be full color with some changes that the same Eisner would've wanted, like the Denny's Black Suit/Coat.
I'm really looking forward to this! So Miller! GOOD LUCK!
