Ethan Hawke joins Untitled Scott Derrickson Project
Scott Derrickson is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with C. Robert Cargill. Little is known about the story, although it is said to be a crime story with horror elements. We first reported on this project back in May.
Production is scheduled to start on September 19. Jason Blum is producing the Untitled Scott Derrickson Project along with Brian Kavanaugh-Jones. Charles Layton is the executive producer.
Sinister comes to theaters October 5th, 2012 and stars Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio, James Ransone, Fred Dalton Thompson, Clare Foley ll, Michael Hall D'Addario, Juliet Rylance, Cameron Ocasio. The film is directed by Scott Derrickson.

Too little to go off of here, although I'm not at all a fan of Ethan Hawke or Scott Derrickson, so, if I had to guess right now, based on the information given, I'd say it's a pass with a capital ASS.
