Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) has been tapped to star in the TNT drama pilot Truth in Advertising, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The series is set at multimillion-dollar advertising agency Rothman, Greene & Mohr, where executives must continually prove themselves as their jobs are on the line every day.

McCormack will play Mason McGuire, vice-president and art director at the Chicago-based agency. Mason, a married father of two, is described as a good-looking nice guy who is adept at navigating the politics of the corporate world yet rather unspectacular at presenting creative ideas.

Hunt Baldwin and John Coveny wrote the script and are executive producing with Greer Shephard and Michael M. Robin.
