Eric Kripke Scores Overall Deal at Warner Bros. TV

Supernatural executive producer Eric Kripke has scored an overall deal at Warner Bros. TV.

According to Variety, in the two-year exclusive pact, Kripke will continue to exec produce and showrun CW's Thursday staple Supernatural, which enters its fourth season this fall.

Kripke also will start to develop new projects under the deal. There's no word if one of the new titles might be a Supernatural spinoff; Kripke has said in the past that he's interested in doing a prequel of sorts that takes place in the Old West and centered on the show's mythology.

Kripke's at work crafting the show's fourth season, following up on the season three cliffhanger that sent Dean (Jensen Ackles) to hell.

    hatekripke,maybe you're right and Kripke gone too far because of "deangirls", but we still have story about brothers and their relationships. I don't know anything about kripke's work before SPN, but i love this show, it's really awesome! and kripke created that! So i hope show gets season 4 and 5 (with great finale) for sure, i hope this deal with WB is some kind of guarantee.

    I hate Kripke so much.
    How in the world such a dumb man was able to score a deal with WB?
    His previous work was Tarzan and then he destroyed something great like Supernatural. Probably he stole the idea from someone else.
    Supernatural was fantastic in season one but then Kripke did everything that was possible to do to ruin such a good show.
    Everytime I read a Kripke interview I feel the need to puke.
    He knows nothing about what made Supernatural great, and that was two brothers fighting urban legends and their great relationship.
    The strong bond between the Winchesters and the amazing chemistry between Padalecki and Ackles is what made the show gold and what created such a huge fanbase.
    But Kripke is dumb and he listened to a few websites full of deangirls, but those silly fangirls are not the real fans.
    So Kripke keeps adding retarded barbie dolls and separating Sam and Dean.
    Now in season 4 there will bombshells?
    Kripke go away now.
