It seems that Christina Aguilera has found a new love interest for her upcoming film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy) has signed on to star in Burlesque.

Dane will star alongside songstress Christina Aguilera and Cher. The story revolves around Aguilera's small-town girl character who finds success with her voice at a burlesque club, owned by Cher's character. Dane will play a dashing businessman who is trying to both buy the club from Cher's character and vie for the affections of Aguilera's character.

The cast is rounded out by Stanley Tucci, Cam Gigandet, Kristen Bell and Alan Cumming. Production started on the film this week in Los Angeles. The film is eyeing up a Thanksgiving 2010 release.

Burlesque was released November 24th, 2010 and stars Cher, Christina Aguilera, Stanley Tucci, Kristen Bell, Cam Gigandet, Alan Cumming, Eric Dane, Peter Gallagher. The film is directed by Steve Antin.
