Vegas Baby: According to Variety, Romeo Must Die scribe Eric Bernt will make his feature directing bow with Vegas Baby, produced by Insomnia Entertainment.

Kal Penn (Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle) and Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls\) will star in the road-trip tale of five pals who travel to Vegas for a bachelor party. Comic Kathy Griffin and Vincent Pastore ("The Sopranos") make cameos.

Insomnia principal Trent Othick will produce the film, which will be shot in and around Insomnia's partner properties in the Las Vegas area.

Bernt's previous writing credits include "Virtuosity" and "Surviving the Game."
