We haven't heard much about the Entourage movie as of late, although series creator Doug Ellin has been hard at work on the script. Today, we have news that the screenplay is nearly finished, with the story taking place six months after the Entourage series finale. Here's what he had to say about the story. Be warned, though, if you have not seen Entourage up until the very end, there will be some spoilers contained within.

"There are interesting developments about Ari as a studio head, and that's still the first page for me. But foremost is the friendship between the guys who are still hanging out and going to fun parties, and it continues with the same characters."

Series stars Adrian Grenier, Jeremy Piven, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon, and Kevin Connolly are expected to return for the movie, although HBO brass has indicated they need to see the completed script before signing any deals.

Entourage comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Jeremy Piven, Jerry Ferrara, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon.

Glad to see this movie is still moving forward... Didn't like the last season until the last episode aired...then everything turned around!

@basquat it was a fun series, up until the 6th (or 7h, can't recall) season. The last one was pretty bad too.

Why? I don't see the point of this film. There's not a cliche or Hollywood stereotype left that they have already done.
This was the most unoriginal tv show ever, yet people seem to think otherwise.
