Vaugier is perhaps best known for memorable guest arcs on such TV shows as Smallville and One Tree Hill. She's also recently completed production on the lead role in House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim, due out from Lions Gate next year, and she'll play the title role in the Sci Fi Channel movie Painkiller Jane.
SAW 2 will be directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, who co-wrote the original Saw screenplay with James Wan and co-star Leigh Whannel. The film begins production in Toronto on May 5, and is scheduled for release by Lions Gate sometime this fall. Vaugier joins returning actors Shawnee Smith and Tobin Bell in the cast.
Saw II was released October 28th, 2005 and stars Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, Donnie Wahlberg, Erik Knudsen, Franky G, Glenn Plummer, Emmanuelle Vaugier, Beverley Mitchell. The film is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman.
