Emma Roberts signs on for Scream 4
Roberts joins original Scream cast members also starring in Scream 4, Neve Campbell, David Arquette, and Courteney Cox. Scream 4 will be produced/directed by Wes Craven; screenwriter is Kevin Williamson. Iya Labunka is producing along with Craven.
"I am so excited to be part of this ground-breaking franchise," said Roberts. "As a huge fan of the previous films, I jumped at the opportunity to work with the original Scream team of Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson. It's the perfect opportunity for me to do something completely different than I've ever done before. With Bob Weinstein and Dimension, and the return of original cast members Neve, Courteney and David, I have no doubt Scream 4 will live up to fan expectations."
Producer/director Wes Craven added, "I'm absolutely delighted that Emma will be joining the cast of Scream 4. Her talent, beauty and range will add immensely to the sophistication, intensity and fun of the Scream franchise as it returns to the screen once more."
Scream 4 was released April 15th, 2011 and stars Lucy Hale, Roger Jackson, Shenae Grimes, Dane Farwell, Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, Aimee Teegarden, Brittany Robertson. The film is directed by Wes Craven.

The hot chick always lives, but if there's a plethora of babes like say, for example, in the latest Friday 13th, well - then you're f*cked, unless of course, you're hitched to the hunky male lead, then you might be less f*cked, depending on the screenwriters susceptibility to cliches. It's a hit or miss scenario, really.
But Emma Roberts is really, really, hot. ;p

But kill Campbell, she should die during the 4th. Unless this is a trilogy, then kill everyone and wait for her to die for the 5th. then in the 6th, have her come back as the killer and then allow Emma Roberts (if alive) to lop off her head. Oh, could you imagine? it would be awesome
