Emily Blunt Confirms Role in Wolfman Remake

Emily Blunt to get wolfy for her next role.

Premiere.com caught up with the actress at the Sundance Film Festival, where her film Sunshine Clearing is screening, and she confirmed her involvement with the The Wolfman remake.

"I don't really love horror, but I love those two guys [Mark Romanek and Benicio del Toro] and that's why I want to do it," she explains.

"It's a great script, as well as very smart and dark...It's gonna be scary. I think it will have quite a gothic edge and I hope people like it."

The remake will star Benecio del Toro as the title character, with Mark Romanek (One Hour Photo) from a script from Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en). The film is slated for a February 13, 2009 release.

The Wolfman was released February 12th, 2010 and stars Simon Merrells, Gemma Whelan, Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, Mario Marin-Borquez, Asa Butterfield, Cristina Contes, Anthony Hopkins. The film is directed by Joe Johnston.
