William Fichtner joins the Elysium cast
It isn't known what role William Fichtner will play, although he joins a cast that includes Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, Sharlto Copley, and Wagner Moura. Elysium is said to be a social allegory similar to Neill Blomkamp's blockbuster District 9, except this movie takes place on a distant planet.
Neill Blomkamp will direct Elysium from his own script. Bill Block and Simon Kinberg will produce Elysium, which starts production in July.
Elysium comes to theaters March 1st, 2013 and stars Sharlto Copley, Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, Wagner Moura, William Fichtner, Alice Braga, Diego Luna. The film is directed by Neill Blomkamp.
