Edward Norton Talks The Incredible Hulk
"First off it's utterly unrelated to that film. This is in no way a response to it or picking up from it," Norton said.
"I think like Chris Nolan and those guys did with Batman, we just said: 'We're going to start completely with our own version of this myth or saga,'" he added.
The Incredible Hulk is set to open in theaters on June 13.
The actor also said that he turned down the project a few different times before he was offered the chance to rewrite the script himself. Now, he sees this as just the beginning for this new green monster.
"To me the whole thing was to envision it in multiple parts. We left a lot out on purpose. It's definitely intended as chapter one."
The Incredible Hulk was released June 13th, 2008 and stars Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, William Hurt, Tim Blake Nelson, Ty Burrell, Christina Cabot, Peter Mensah. The film is directed by Louis Leterrier.

THE JOKER
truvision dude you can tell just from the trailer and interviews with well respected people such as Sir Michael Caine and gary Oldman. Their opinions of his work as The Joker was held very high. From everything we have seen and heard he is going to be the best Joker. and i like the way this article sounds. Ed Norton is an excellent actor. i can not wait to see what he does for this role.

I have a good feeling that this Hulk movie it will do good. But now, all I can think off is Heath. I still can't believe it. He was set to be a BIG star. I know without a doubt that he's the BEST Joker ever!! We need it him in Hollywood and his family needs him too. As for the Hulk, keep up the good work!!!

I think it's fantastic that Norton was given the chance to help write this script AND play Banner.

This is nothing like how batman was redone...the different batman versions had about 20 years difference where the Hulk came out in like 2002..thats like someone doing a remake to spider man..ahaha...on the other hand i have no problem with it as long as the hulk is actually a person rather than something done with the computer...the last movie looked like a cartoon...i agree with you bananaz...nothing is as big as the news with Heath..R.I.P

Well, this is good news, but it's nothing new. We knew it wasn't related to the first film.
