MTV is reporting that at the recent South by Southwest Film Festival Edward Norton not only discussed his possible involvement with The Incredible Hulk franchise, but also put some rumors to rest about cameo appearances in other big ticket films.
No Plans for an Incredible Hulk sequel
"No," he stated when asked if Marvel Studios (the production company behind the films) had any current plans to do another Hulk film. "I think they've got a whole lot of stuff to spool out before they get on into [a Hulk sequel]."
Norton however didn't rule out delving back into the Bruce Banner role.
"We'll see what they want to do," he said. "I figure it's a ways down the road."
When asked about possibly appearing in projects like Iron Man 2, Thor or The First Avenger: Captain America, MTV reports that the much sought after actor has "no plans" to be in those movies.
The Incredible Hulk was released June 13th, 2008 and stars Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, William Hurt, Tim Blake Nelson, Ty Burrell, Christina Cabot, Peter Mensah. The film is directed by Louis Leterrier.
