Ed McMahon Has Passed Away at Age 86
McMahon's died early Tuesday morning at a Los Angeles-area hospital, said hospital spokesperson Howard Bragman.
"He died early this morning with his wife and loved ones by his side," Bragman said.
McMahon had been fighting pneumonia and other ailments, although Bragman would neither confirm nor deny reports that McMahon was battling bone cancer.

RIP, only he added those 2 most memorable quotes to the American Lexicon: "Heeeeeeere's Johnny!!!!" & "Hi-Yo!!!" He'll be missed as the most popular TV host and sidekick of his time.
[And 11.75hrs after his death this story breaks].
His publicist Howard Bragman stated that he'd rather have Ed remembered for his first 84yrs rather than his last 2. So thanks Mr. McMahon for all the laughs. We here already miss you.
