Ed Helms has joined the cast of They Came Together and We're the Millers
They Came Together centers on Joel (Paul Rudd), a corporate tycoon who threatens to tear down a small shop owned by Molly (Amy Poehler). While the two instantly start hating each other, they develop an awkward romance in the same vein of You've Got Mail. Ed Helms is playing Eggbert, Molly's love interest/accountant.
David Wain is directing from a script he co-wrote with Michael Showalter. Production is slated to begin next month.
We're the Millers stars Jason Sudeikis as a drug dealer, who hires a fake wife (Jennifer Aniston) and two kids to help him smuggle 1,000 pounds of mairjuana from Mexico to the U.S. Ed Helms will play Jason Sudeikis' shady boss, who hides a dark secret.
The actor returns to The Office on July 30, before leaving to shoot The Hangover Part II on September 16.
They Came Together comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Ed Helms, Noureen DeWulf, Michael Ian Black, Cobie Smulders. The film is directed by David Wain.
