Actors Ed Harris and Gabriel Byrne have joined the cast of One Missed Call, according to Fangoria.

The film will be directed by Eric Valette and is a remake of the 2005 Japanese horror/thriller.

The synopsis of the Japanese version revolves around a college student who fails to answer a cell phone call because she doesn't recognize the caller's ringtone. Later, when she plays the message, the time stamp is three days in the future and she hears her own voice as she's being killed.

The film is currently filming in Atlanta and is scheduled to be released by Warner Bros. next year.
