Drew Goddard Is on the Short List to Adapt Robopocalypse

Project could be Steven Spielberg's next movie

Deadline New York is reporting that due to Showtime's recent announcement of an output deal with Disney that includes up to 35 DreamWorks films, this might have Steven Spielberg directing Robopocalypse sooner rather than later.

Scribe Drew Goddard (Cloverfield) is being looked at to adapt the Daniel H. Wilson book that isn't completed. The story sees the human race trying to survive a robot uprising.

There is some rumblings that this film could be Spielberg's next directing gig but presently all this is is just talk.

We will have more on this story should anything else develop...
