Dredd takes us to the wild streets of Mega City One, the lone oasis of quasi-civilization on Cursed Earth. The endlessly inventive mind of writer Alex Garland and the frenetic vision of director Pete Travis bring Dredd to life as a futuristic neo-noir action film that returns the celebrated character to the dark, visceral incarnation from John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra's revered comic strip.
Dredd comes to theaters September 21st, 2012 and stars Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby, Jason Cope, Warrick Grier, Joe Vaz, Langley Kirkwood, Deobia Oparei, Francis Chouler. The film is directed by Pete Travis.

Karl Urban is great and the charater is awesome but i havnt seen anything that makes me think this will be good. However, i am a pretty huge fan of Alax Garland. I know this will be written and acted well. Crosses fingers.

Stallone should have rebooted his own dredd film. i would of been fine if the org cast returned for a reboot, kinda like ghost rider has the same guy. As for the bike, it looks like sumthing u would see in batman's 1989 film. not sumthing from the future. I would have loved if "dredd's world" was something in between like..total recall, the island and the 5th element. rather than a rundown trashy world. then again maybe thats the point of the film, i dunno? but if u put together a world like i mentioned above. it would make it look really nice, the bad guys would seem smart, professionals, and they would act better than how most acted in the org film. I think the acting in i-robot hit the nail right on the head. great future, great acting and smart villians.

Karl and this Dredd movie will be great. I personaly loved the Sly one. But I hope they make Mega city, look as futuristic, and "crowded" like the Sly one did. But the bike pic,,, dose not look good, no not good at all...
