Dreamworks is making some friends... of the imaginary kind. According to Variety, the studio has signed a deal with newcomer scribes Cornelius Uliano and Bryan Schulz for their spec script Imaginary Friends.

The studio is keeping the storyline under tight wraps, but the pic is said to be in the fantasy adventure vein.

Uliano and Schulz are film school pals who both graduated from Brooks Institute for Photography last year.
