Dragonball's Goku Makes His First Photo Appearance
Dragonball Movie Blog has posted the first photo of Justin Chatwin in costume as Goku in Dragonball. The photo is said to be from the Japanese magazine Shonen Jump #24. The issue will hit specialty newsstands on Monday, May 12th.
Dragonball is set for release on April 10th, 2009.
Dragonball Evolution was released April 10th, 2009 and stars Justin Chatwin, Chow Yun-Fat, Emmy Rossum, Jamie Chung, James Marsters, Joon Park, Eriko Tamura, Randall Duk Kim. The film is directed by James Wong.

...It's not even out yet and already its starting to suck. Not to be racist or anything but damn..the casting for Goku is horrible. They chose a WHITE guy to play Goku. WTF? I know that Goku wasn't technically Asian in the series but still..they made him LOOK asian. The rest were okay I guess..Bulma, Master Roshi. They were okay. I'm sorry to say but this movie is going to suck big time. I have this feeling it's going to be like DOA. OH god..it's going to ruin Dragonball's legacy. DAMNIT! Don't get me started with that so called "gi" Justin's wearing. Is it me or does that outfit NOT look at ALL like Goku's?..I've been a big Dragonball fan my whole life and now this has to come up and mess it all up. I'm very disappointed in James Wong. I mean I would've chosen Jon Foo to play Goku instead of Justin. Not that I hate Justin, it's just that I don't see him fit to play Goku's role. Jon Foo has martial arts skills to play such a role. Sorry guys..this movie I don't think will be any good. We'll see soon though. Let's all pray together.

dumbass had forgotten to add the english spelling of the

Hey, I'm new to this kind of stuff so be gentle..lol.
This is my first comment on movieweb and I don't comment a lot on things so don't get mad. I just wanted to reply to marcusx. To that asian symbol, I know you can make it if your computer has Windows Vista, but that's only to my knowledge. You can change the language to Japaneses on your computer and type in the english version of the Japanese word and push space and it will turn into whatever you typed, like if you typed in the english version of the Japanese word for turtle you WOULD get 亀. For example you can type mosura(mothra) or gojira(godzilla)and you will get モスラ　ＯＲ　ゴジラ that's all I have to do. I hope this helped marcusx.
BTW, I think this movie might be alright.
