Don Coscarelli Will Direct John Dies at the End

Don Coscarelli is preparing to direct the David Wong novel John Dies at the End. According to an interview in Apex Digest, Wong had just recently sold the rights of his novel to the horror master.

John Dies at the End centers on John and David, a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. These two misfits join forces in an attempt to stop the destruction of mankind from an unknown silent invasion.

Conscarelli has not announced when production for John Dies at the End is scheduled to begin.

John Dies at the End comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Chase Williamson, Rob Mayes, Paul Giamatti, Clancy Brown, Glynn Turman, Doug Jones, Daniel Roebuck, Fabianne Therese. The film is directed by Don Coscarelli.
