Dominic West has just joined the cast of Lexi Alexander's Punisher: War Zone. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Doug Hutchison and Wayne Knight will also be appearing in the Lionsgate/Marvel Studios Picture.

West will play Jigsaw, the Punisher's archenemy. He is a mob assassin whose face was torn to shreds and then stitched back together like a jigsaw. Hutchison will play the role of LBJ aka Looney Bin Jim. He is a chemically unbalanced maniac who goes on a mass killing spree. Finally, Knight will play the Punisher's sidekick Microchip. He's the one that stockpiles all those weapons that the Punisher uses.

The film is scheduled to start shooting this October in Montreal.

Punisher: War Zone was released December 5th, 2008 and stars Ray Stevenson, Dominic West, Doug Hutchison, Colin Salmon, Wayne Knight, Dash Mihok, Julie Benz, Stephanie Janusauskas. The film is directed by Lexi Alexander.
